Classical Tahoe

The picture-perfect Lake Tahoe setting provides the inspirational backdrop for all your favorite composers with featured musical masterpieces of Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Gershwin, Bernstein, Copland and more. Enjoy performances for families and special opportunities for concert-goers to meet and get to know our phenomenal musicians.

Squaw Kids Adventure Camp

While visiting Truckee, let your child explore and discover adventure at Palisades Tahoe through outdoor activities and art exploration alongside our experienced counselors and other kids. The Squaw Kids Adventure Camp is offered on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays through June 23 – September 4, 2017 from 9am-3pm. The daily adventures may include swimming, Aerial Tram rides, eco-hiking, nature crafts, biking, map and compass class, roller skating, geo-caching, engineering Lego build/tech projects, disc golf, climbing wall, mini golf, lawn games, scavenger hunts, cooking class, yoga, flower press and tree recognition—all the stuff kids love!

About the Park

Truckee Regional Park lies just 1/2 mile south of downtown Truckee. This park offers 62 acres of recreation facilities, including ball fields, picnic areas with tables, a rodeo arena, nature trails, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, amphitheater, tot lot, skateboard park, playground equipment, and a disc golf course overlooking the Truckee River. The park has just about everything you could want or need out of a public park.
