Haunted Historic Walking Tours
Step into Tahoe City’s past and uncover the ghostly legends, mysterious happenings, and unforgettable characters that still linger in local history.
Led by Karen Willcuts of Mountain Town Walking Tours, these guided walks explore downtown Tahoe City through stories of old morgues, unexplained events, colorful characters, and some of the area’s most intriguing tales.
The tours are designed for ages 12 and up and begin outside Sierra Surf Club, located inside the historic Tahoe Inn, built in 1934.
October tour dates
- Saturday, October 24: 10 AM & 3 PM
- Sunday, October 25: 3 PM
- Saturday, October 31: 10 AM
Cost: $5 donation
Ages: 12+
Advance registration is recommended due to limited capacity. Walk-ins are welcome when space is available. Donations support TCDA’s community programs and events and are non-refundable.
