MAIN FLOOR

BEDROOMS

All three bedrooms are located on the main level, each thoughtfully designed to offer comfort and privacy. The primary suite features a king bed dressed in soft linens, a large window framing the forest, and an elegant ensuite bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower and a stone-topped vanity. The second bedroom’s queen bed provides a soothing retreat after a day outdoors, with natural textures and calm, neutral tones that echo the surrounding woods.

The third bedroom is perfect for kids or friends, with a twin-over-full bunk bed and a cozy desk nook ideal for reading or remote work. A second full bathroom, equally stylish, includes a tub-shower combo with beautiful tilework and matte black fixtures. Both bathrooms are designed with simple luxury in mind—fresh towels, warm lighting, and natural finishes that feel both practical and indulgent.

OUTDOOR SPACES

As beautiful as Timberwood Cabin is inside, its outdoor spaces take the experience to another level, offering the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and Tahoe magic! The spacious back deck is surrounded by tall pines and offers plenty of room to relax, dine, and take in the mountain air. Fire up the gas grill for dinner outdoors, share stories at the picnic table, or unwind in the private hot tub, perfectly placed for privacy and stargazing. A pair of Adirondack chairs provide a relaxing spot for morning coffee or an evening cocktail, and during the winter months, snow transforms the setting into a serene alpine escape.

In summer, it’s the perfect spot for barbecues and long, lazy afternoons. In winter, the fenced hot tub area becomes your personal spa under the stars. Out front, a pair of rocking chairs on the porch offer another peaceful perch for quiet moments among the trees.

LOCATION and AMENITIES

Timberwood Cabin’s location captures the best of Tahoe living, no matter the season. For the winter months, the cabin is just 15 minutes from Northstar California Resort, 20 minutes from Palisades Tahoe, and 10 minutes from the Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area. Guests can also enjoy sledding right nearby—just a short walk brings you to a small, gentle hill that’s perfect for a quick run in the snow.

When the weather warms, a short drive brings you to Patton Beach, Magic Carpet Mini Golf, and the iconic Gar Woods Grill and Pier. Spend mornings kayaking on the lake, afternoons exploring local shops and cafés, and evenings gathered around the table with good food and great company.

- Parking Spots: 2; During snowfall, street parking is not allowed due to snow removal. All vehicles must be parked off the street promptly so plows can operate.
- Maximum 2 pets allowed; $100/pet fee must be paid before check-in.
- Outdoor furniture and grills may not be available November-May.
- In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are required. If your car is not equipped with both, please ensure you have chains.
- We kindly ask all guests to respect quiet hours from 9 PM to 7 AM, as required by Placer County regulations.
-Full Terms and Conditions are supplied upon booking and completion of signatures on the Booking Confirmation.
-Rental Agreement contract is required for booking to be confirmed and must be signed within 24 hours of creating the reservation.
*Agreement must be signed by occupants aged 25 or older.
