Three Pines Family Cabin

Our stay was fabulous, it was just how the property was described. We had so many schedule changes due to Covid and they were very accommodating as best they can be. Definitely would recommend this place.

This cozy house was perfect for two small families. Property manager was responsive and despite tons of snow the week prior, the driveway and patio were cleared to allow my son's wheelchair to easily accesses the house. The driveway does have a bit of an incline leaving the house up to the road, which was a challenge at times for our heavy adapted mini van, but our friends' 4wd Subaru had no problems with it. The large mudroom at the entry was a great space to remove snowy boots so we didn't track any snow into the house, although the new laminate floors were easily to clean if some snow was accidentally tracked in. Being right on the main arterial road of the Tahoe Donner neighborhood was super convenient as it was plowed really well and allowed quick access to the highway. During our trip we skied at Alpine Meadows and Northstar and snowboarded and tubed at Boreal and it was a quick and easy drive to all locations. While some of the plumbing fixtures and countertops are a bit dated, all linens, towels, pillows, and dishes provided seemed fresh and new. Overall, just a comfortable, cozy, and convenient stay, particularly if looking for single level living for mobility needs (just one step onto the porch or in from the garage). Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at 3 Pines while our floors were being redone. Our little dog loved walking in the forest and our 4 year-old had a blast running around collecting pinecones. My mother appreciated that the house was a single floor. Well appointed place with plenty of room. We would definitely rent again.

We had a wonderful time at this house. I loved the layout and the fact that it was all one story. There was plenty of room outside to romp around, and we didn’t use the hot tub but it would have been a great view. The house was super clean and comfy. It could use a few small improvements (better pillows, a new set of dishes) but overall this place was wonderful. The rental company was super helpful and responsive. We’d definitely stay here again!

Perfect home for our family. Loved the ground level ease for the dog and hot tub access. House was laid out great and had everything we needed. Hot tub beautifully situated w/ snow and trees all around. Property managers were responsive, professional and very nice. Quiet neighborhood, which made for nice strolls with the dog, and the Lodge Restaurant & Pub close by was great for takeout. Driveway was flat and garage a great convenience.

My family and I booked this AirBnb in January. I loved it here. It was a nice cozy cabin. I wish we could of used the jacuzzi but It was snowing. The washer and dryer came in handy. I really liked that they let us park our car inside the garage. I would definitely recommend this place for a family trip.

The house was perfect for our family and four and family dog! It was very clean and spacious - perfect for spending quality time with the family. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck and spent multiple nights eating outside and enjoying the scenery. The location was also great. Easy access to trails, parks, shopping centers, etc. We would definitely stay here agian!

Nice property with everything you need for a comfortable weekend. Hot tub was a great perk. Master could use a king-sized bed. Appliances are quite outdated, but they work well. Overall, a great property for a family stay.

The cabin was everything they advertised. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The only issue we had was with getting in. The code we were given didn’t work but we called and they gave us a different code to get in. The listing said there would be a play and play but there wasn’t one at the house. We called the management company and they had one there for us within an hour. Very helpful and responsive!

We recently stayed at the Three Pines cabin with 4 adults and two golden retrievers. It was a great size, comfortable, and well outfitted. (Could have used a pancake turner/spatula.) We will definitely keep this home in mind when we go back up to see family that is in the area.

Our stay with the grandkids was great! They loved their room with the bunk beds and just going out the back door to the snow to build a snowman and snow forts. The adults loved the open living area connected to the kitchen.

We came up to ski for MLK. The cabin itself was great. Terrific kitchen, excellent living room, comfortable bedrooms. I liked the gas stove. The big flat screen TV was great for the football game. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin is about a 25-minute drive from Northstar, and we needed chains on our minivan to get back to the cabin one of the days.

It was just so amazing! The view from the living room window, the amazing hot tub, you felt like you are in the middle of the forest and you have everything you need in the house (towels, kitchen utensils, board games) absolute love the place!

The house is nicely decorated, very clean and quiet (despite being located on the main road in Tahoe Donner). The gas fireplace was great as the outside temperature had dropped quite a bit. The Jacuzzi worked well and was also very clean. All in all a great place to stay - highly recommended.

Excellent location for our planned Tahoe Donner activities. Property description matched our expectations. Great customer service and easy to use mobile app for all amenities and guidance. We had a fabulous time and would stay again despite the following issues with the property: dirty garage floor that required sweeping, a leaky clothes washing machine, master bath tub does not drain well due to hair and scum build-up, an empty propane tank which disabled patio fire pit, and a dirty and cloudy hot tub without enough chlorine tablets (shock) on hand to clear it up.

We had a fantastic time. Gorgeous home -- perfect for a family. My kids (2 & 5) loved the bunk beds, backyard forest, hot tub, and proximity to the snow park. We hope to be back next year!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the house. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. We went skiing at Tahoe Donner with our kids and loved how close the resort was especially since there was heavy snow during our stay so it was nice to have a short trip on the snow covered roads. We would definitely stay here again.

I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking to stay at Tahoe Donner. The layout of the house is perfect from the covered patio overlooking the open space behind the house to the cozy open layout. The large attached "mud room" was very helpful in containing snow clothes and drying them quickly for the next snow excursion. The hot tub was a huge bonus on a cold snowy evening in January. The house was well stocked and clean. We enjoyed our stayed and would definitely rent it again.
