Welcome to our charming Tahoe Donner Log Cabin, the perfect mountain escape for your next Truckee vacation! Nestled in the woods in the luxurious Tahoe Donner neighborhood, this 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom cabin is the perfect home to comfortably accommodate your whole party. With exposed log walls and ceilings, this authentic log cabin offers guests a rustic retreat beautifully updated with comfortable, high-end furniture and modern comforts! Close to all the outdoor recreation that Tahoe has to offer, including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, and water activities, our Log Cabin is truly an ideal Californian mountain home!

MAIN FLOOR

The living room is furnished with a modern sectional sofa and a leather accent chair, providing a cozy place to unwind after a day of exploring Tahoe. The kitchen is a well-stocked, eclectic blend of rustic and modern, featuring stainless steel appliances and wooden cabinets with antique-styled hardware. You’ll have plenty of space for culinary creations and there is plenty of seating for family meals at the adjacent eight-person table with bench seating. Ample windows throughout this space bring the beauty of nature indoors. A separate den on the main level offers additional space to unwind, play games, or watch movies on the wall-mounted flat-screen TV. Relax on the leather furniture or curl up on cold winter nights near the atmospheric gas stove (please note the stove is out of order). After a day of exploring Tahoe, unwind in the private hot tub on the deck while soaking up the views of the surrounding trees.

UPPER FLOOR

Upstairs, you will find all three bedrooms and a games area on the landing with a sitting area to unwind, an arcade, and board games! 

The primary suite is enormous and boasts a king bed, a private sitting room with wall mounted TV, and a desk. With a spacious, five-piece ensuite, this bedroom suite is an oasis where you can find added privacy from the rest of the home. 

The second bedroom features a queen bed and dresser, and is decorated with charming cottage décor. Kids will love the third bedroom, with a bunk bed, twin bed, and comfortable queen bed. 

LOCATION and AMENITIES

Located in the beautiful Tahoe Donner neighborhood, guests can easily access the Tahoe Donner Ski Resort, Tahoe Donner Golf Course and have access to the Tahoe Donner Association’s clubhouse, which features two swimming pools, three hot tubs, two saunas, tennis courts, a cardio room, and a weight room. There are nearby hiking and biking trails and guests also get access to the private beach at the east end of Donner Lake! Both Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe are nearby, where you can go swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, biking, and more! Truckee is also known for its charming historic downtown area that features several boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Whether you are looking for a place to relax and unwind or a place to explore and adventure, this property is the perfect place to call home during your stay!

Important Notice About Tahoe Donner Amenities:

Tahoe Donner Association has announced new access blackouts and limitations for Short-Term Tenant Access Cards. During these blackout periods, short-term rental guests (including those staying with Tahoe Signature Properties) will not have access to Tahoe Donner amenities.
Our properties are registered as Short-Term Rental Tenant members, which are subject to these blackout restrictions.

Each eligible property is issued six guest cards to access the recreation amenities available through the Tahoe Donner Association. Guests who fail to leave all six guest cards in the home will be subject to a $100 fine per missing card. Children 3 and under are free.

Please note that blackout schedules are set solely by the Tahoe Donner Association and may change at their discretion.

- Parking Spots: 3; During snowfall, street parking is not allowed due to snow removal. All vehicles must be parked off the street promptly so plows can operate.

- Due to family allergies, Tahoe Donner Log Cabin is not pet-friendly.
- Outdoor furniture and grills may not be available November–May.
- In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are required. If your car is not equipped with either, please be sure to have chains.
- We kindly ask all guests to respect quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM, as required by Town of Truckee regulations.
- Full Terms and Conditions are supplied upon booking and completion of signatures on the Booking Confirmation.
- Rental Agreement contract is required for booking to be confirmed and must be signed within 24 hours of creating the reservation.
*Agreement must be signed by occupants aged 25 or older.
