INSIDE THE HOME
As soon as you step into the home, you'll be greeted by its bright and airy atmosphere. Many charming heritage features have been preserved, like the vintage door knobs to the character windows. The living room is a great hangout spot for talking, games, or movie nights. With tasteful decor and plenty of natural light, it's the perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring.

The primary suite is a cozy space that has been immaculately decorated and has a completely remodeled ensuite to create a private, calming atmosphere. The guest room also has a queen bed, and both rooms have flat-screen TVs and neutral decor that will make you feel right at home. The natural light and soft color palettes used make it the perfect place to get a good night's sleep or do some morning meditation so you'll feel refreshed every morning.

The dining area features an upscale rustic contemporary dining table, perfect for intimate sit-down meals and the renovated kitchen is bright and completely updated with high-end appliances. There's a small breakfast table for on-the-go breakfasts or coffee, and you'll have everything you need to cook a gourmet meal.

A highlight of the Shabby to Chic Downtown Getaway is the eclectic yard. It's a surprisingly large space that's perfect when the weather gets warm. Families with kids will appreciate this gated space, where kids can play safely. Nestled in a small grove with dappled light, guests can enjoy the outdoor seating, and the water feature creates a peaceful oasis in the middle of downtown.
Please note: that we are unable to accept guests with pit bulls or Rottweilers at our pet-friendly rental. Breed restrictions are mandated by the insurance company and we are unfortunately unable to make acceptions.

And with easy access to highways, you can quickly and easily travel across Tahoe to other sights like Squaw Valley and Donner Lake. If you're looking for a day trip, consider heading to the nearby Donner Memorial State Park which features miles of hiking trails, stunning views of Donner Lake, and fascinating exhibits about the ill-fated Donner Party.
