MAIN FLOOR
Upon entering the home, you'll be greeted by a spacious main-floor living area, complete with a large stone fireplace and tasteful Americana decor that creates a perfect Californian mountain cabin feel. The living room is furnished with leather sofas, an easy chair, and a large wall-mounted flatscreen TV, making this room perfect for movie nights, with plenty of seating for the whole family to curl up next to the fireplace after a long day of activities!
The fully equipped kitchen and large dining table offer ample space for preparing and enjoying meals together. Large windows let in plenty of natural light and reveal a serene view of the wooded yard and wrap-around deck.
The primary bedroom, located on the main floor, is a bright, peaceful space. Outfitted with a wall-mounted flatscreen TV, you can relax and watch your favorite shows or enjoy the views of the pines from the comfort of bed! The spacious downstairs bathroom features an extra-long vanity with double sinks—perfect for getting ready in the mornings.
UPPER FLOOR
Upstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms and an additional full bathroom, providing plenty of comfortable sleeping options for your whole group! The first upstairs bedroom features a queen bed, while the second bedroom features two double beds, fitted with soft bed linens and decorated with nature-themed accents that enhance the mountain cabin atmosphere. The soft, Berber carpet adds to the light and bright atmosphere of the upstairs area.
LOCATION and AMENITIES
Nestled in the Northwoods neighborhood, Camp Howdy offers easy access to alpine activities in winter and hiking, biking, swimming, and more in summer. This upscale neighborhood provides easy access to Tahoe Donner Ski Resort, Tahoe Donner Golf Course, and the Tahoe Donner Association’s clubhouse, which features two swimming pools, three hot tubs, two saunas, tennis courts, a cardio room, and a weight room. There are nearby hiking and biking trails and guests also get access to the private beach at the east end of Donner Lake!
Take a short drive to the charming town of Truckee, where you'll find a variety of shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Explore the shores of nearby Lake Tahoe or Donner Lake, which offer endless opportunities for water sports, fishing, and relaxation!

Important Notice About Tahoe Donner Amenities:
Tahoe Donner Association has announced new access blackouts and limitations for Short-Term Tenant Access Cards. During these blackout periods, short-term rental guests (including those staying with Tahoe Signature Properties) will not have access to Tahoe Donner amenities.
Our properties are registered as Short-Term Rental Tenant members, which are subject to these blackout restrictions.
We recommend checking the official Tahoe Donner Association website before booking to verify whether your travel dates may be affected:

Refunds cannot be provided for cancellations related to these blackout dates.
There is a per-person, per-day fee to access the club amenities, and rates are subject to change. Please refer to the TDA website for details: https://www.tahoedonner.com/amenities/
Each eligible property is issued six guest cards to access the recreation amenities available through the Tahoe Donner Association. Guests who fail to leave all six guest cards in the home will be subject to a $100 fine per missing card. Children 3 and under are free.
Please note that blackout schedules are set solely by the Tahoe Donner Association and may change at their discretion.

- Maximum Occupancy: 8
- Parking Spots: 3; During snowfall, street parking is not allowed due to snow removal. All vehicles must be parked off the street promptly so plows can operate.
- Town of Truckee: 027940
- Due to family allergies, Camp Howdy in Tahoe Donner is not pet-friendly.
- Outdoor furniture and grills may not be available November–May.
- In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are required. If your car is not equipped with either, please be sure to have chains.
- We kindly ask all guests to respect quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM, as required by Town of Truckee regulations.
- Full Terms and Conditions are supplied upon booking and completion of signatures on the Booking Confirmation.
- Rental Agreement contract is required for booking to be confirmed and must be signed within 24 hours of creating the reservation.
- There is one camera on the back side of the garage that looks toward the front porch of the house.
*Agreement must be signed by occupants aged 25 or older.
