First up is the ever-famous Keg Rolling, a challenging activity where contestants roll an empty keg through a course, aiming for the fastest completion time. This game is obviously for adults with beer equipment used to play. Next up is the brat toss, a competitive game where contestants toss bratwursts onto a keg with increasing difficulty. And the final Oktoberfest game is the Stein Holding competition. This classic German game has contestants hold two full 1-liter steins of beer at shoulder height—last person standing wins. Palisades Tahoe Oktoberfest not only provides a variety of entertainment, but it also donates all proceeds to the High Sierra Lacrosse Foundation. Entry is free, with all games and activities free to participate in as well. Due to beer on site, only festivalgoers who are 21 years or older and with a valid ID will be able to purchase beer.
