INSIDE THE HOME
Inside the home, you'll find shared living spaces that include a kitchen, dining area, and living room, perfect for spending time with loved ones no matter where you're hanging out. The gorgeous soaring, wood-paneled ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows make the space bright and airy all year-round. 
The fully stocked kitchen is bright and beautifully updated, with clean white cabinets, beautiful wood and granite countertops, gleaming stainless steel appliances, and island seating, perfect for making anything from large meals to light snacks, morning coffee, or evening cocktails.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area, surrounded by windows, with an elegant eight-person table, perfect for everyone to enjoy sit-down meals together. A charming rustic river rock fireplace in between the living room and dining room makes the whole space cozy, inviting you to relax and unwind.
The living room features three reclining leather sofas with cup holders, and a flatscreen TV, perfect for epic movie nights or spending time together chatting late into the evening. It's the perfect space for unwinding at the end of the day with a great book and your feet up.
Step outside to the large patio and enjoy the fresh mountain air.  The patio is also perfect for hosting BBQs with family and friends.
The primary suite is a gorgeous and calming space, with a comfortable king bed, seating area, patio access, and a large ensuite, creating an oasis in the home. The large ensuite has a double vanity and a raised jacuzzi tub with a window, allowing you to watch the snow while relaxing in a bubble bath.
The bunk bedroom is an enormous hangout space perfect for kids of all ages. With two built-in bunk beds plus a trundle bed, a large plush sectional, and a flatscreen, it's the perfect hangout spot away from the main living spaces. There are tons of games and puzzles, making it a spot where kids will love to play and hang out.
The two queen guest bedrooms are calming spaces, both with comfortable queen beds and lovely views, perfect for getting lots of rest so you can enjoy your time in Tahoe. The rooms feature mountain decor and thoughtful touches to make them cozy.
There are two large full bathrooms, providing plenty of space for everyone to get ready in the morning and unwind at night. With all of these amenities, you're sure to have a stress-free vacation.
Please note: In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are highly recommended. If your car is not equipped with both, please be sure to have chains.

Excellent

Massive house in Truckee with plenty of room for a large family. Each of the 3 bedrooms upstairs have full beds, and the bunk room/game room downstairs has 5 beds and a bunch of board games. We stayed during a heavy snow storm, so we were grateful for the neighborhood plow to come by in the mornings to clear the driveway. The kitchen is fully stocked with the essentials including a coffee machine and Keurig coffee pod machine. Also has a few passes to the Tahoe Donner rec centers (hot tub, pools, etc).

Lovely long weekend at Sitzmark Escape

We had a great weekend in Tahoe Donner at Sizmark Escape. The house was a perfect size for our two families with four adults and four teens. The kids loved the bunk room downstairs. The house was very well equipped and very clean. We appreciated things like extra pillows, room fans, and a well stocked kitchen. The master bed was very comfortable as were the big sofas in the living room. Overall a great stay. I would recommend that the owners consider installing a whole house fan to cool off the home at night. It was a hot weekend and the living room reached 83 degrees even though we opened windows at night, used fans, and closed windows and blinds during the days. Summers continue to get hotter, even in the mountains. I also would suggest a keypad entry for the home so as to not have to deal with a key with multiple guests. Otherwise, this was a great home.
