The main floor of the home has plenty of space for everyone to spend time together! Guests will find a designer living room with a vaulted ceiling, a large chef’s kitchen, a generous dining area, two bedrooms, and a bathroom.
The living room of Tahoe Bear Den is a space made for entertaining! With gorgeous, comfortable, furnishings, large windows, and a beautiful wood-burning stove, this space is perfect for relaxing after a long day, enjoying a conversation with a glass of wine, or sipping morning coffee with the paper. From the living room, guests have access to the large, hot tub patio where you can take a soak after a long day of exploring. The backyard also has a small basketball court and, in the winter, a perfect sledding hill that kids of all ages will love!
The spacious chef’s kitchen with chic concrete countertops, high-end fittings, and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, including a six-burner stovetop and range, is impressive. This fully stocked kitchen is a great space to work whether you’re making breakfast for the whole family, a traditional dinner or just your morning coffee. The adjoining dining area is every family’s dream! Furnished with an upscale, rustic twelve-person table, there’s no doubt you’ll have room for everyone! Plus, from the dining area, you can access the other patio where guests can BBQ when the weather is warmer.
The two, bright, main-floor bedrooms are each furnished with two beds. One bedroom has one queen bed and one double side-by-side fitted with soft, high-end linens. The other bedroom has a large queen size bunk bed, a small desk, and plenty of space for luggage. The beautifully updated, four-piece bathroom on the main floor provides plenty of space for those staying on the main floor.
On the upper floor, you’ll find the second living room, nursery, and lovely primary suite.
The second living room is the perfect place for the whole family to spend time together! Outfitted with a plush sectional, a large flatscreen, and some floor cushions for extra seating, this space is ideal for family movie nights or a place to kick back and play a game together!
Just off the second living room, there is a nursery with two cribs, making this home the perfect place for families with little ones to stay! The primary bedroom with unique gable ceilings, offers a king-size bed with beautiful linens, flatscreen TV, a small desk, lots of storage, and a cozy four-piece ensuite. In this suite, you’ll be able to rest and recharge for the next day of adventures in Tahoe!

Please note: in the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are highly recommended. If your car is not equipped with both, please be sure to have chains.
LOCATION & AMENITIES
The Tahoe Bear Den is the perfect Californian mountain vacation home all year round! One of the perks of booking the Bean Den? Guests have access to the exclusive Tahoe Donner Association clubhouse which includes two swimming pools, three hot tubs, two saunas plus a fitness center. You can also enjoy the golf course and tennis courts as well as the private beach to the east end of Donner Lake. During the winter, Tahoe Donner Ski Resort is the perfect place for alpine recreation and is known for its excellent kids’ programs and lessons! With a great pizza place and casual restaurant in the neighborhood, incredible activities, and amenities just minutes away from the property, when you stay at the Tahoe Bear Den, you can find everything you need without having to venture far from this beautiful neighborhood!
Please note: each eligible property is issued two guest cards to access the recreation amenities available in Tahoe Donner Association.
Guest cards only allow for up to 4 guests per card.
Guest access fees apply per person per day and vary by activity.
Children 6 and under are free.
