Multiple Choices
Nationwide Mutual Insurance Companies and the Play Travel Protection Program have teamed up to offer U.S. and Canadian residents multiple choices to protect their travel investment. Most choices cover U.S.-based locations, as well as international locations that are not subject to published travel restrictions.
Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR)
There are multiple CFAR packages to choose from. Many of the options include coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, and delay, as well as baggage and personal effects replacement. Take advantage of emergency travel assistance with limited concierge services to help you problem solve on the road. Rest assured you’re covered in the event of the worst, including sickness (not caused by a pre-existing condition) and death. Most expenses are covered up to $100,000.
Play Travel Protection Program
This program covers the same pitfalls as CFAR plans but does not include a pre-existing condition waiver. Basic protection means peace of mind.
Canadian Travelers
Canadian residents have access to similar products. Policies include protections against cancellation, interruption, and delays. Residents also have access to 24/7 travel assistance services such as medical emergency, concierge, business concierge, and political and natural disaster evacuation assistance.
Trip Insurance Restrictions
Contact us for help choosing the right package for you! Some restrictions include residency requirements, and there are plans created specifically for residents of certain states, like Hawaii, New York, and Washington state. There is also a pre-existing condition waiver applicable to CFAR plans, which carries its own restrictions.
