INSIDE THE HOUSE

The wood exterior, sloped chalet-style roof, wrap-around deck, and surrounding pine trees make the Wolfgang Vacation Cabin a picture-perfect getaway. Hang your winter gear on the hooks as you enter and then step into the grand main living area. The great room is a blend of rustic and modern, with tall cathedral ceilings that elevate the space and give the feel of a mountain lodge. Warm up by the stone fireplace on chilly winter evenings or relax on the leather sofa or easy chairs. A flat-screen Smart TV is situated in the living room for your evening entertainment. Two story windows allow light to flood into this space. The fully equipped adjacent kitchen features stainless steel appliances and everything you need to prepare meals to be enjoyed at the full dining table, which seats six. The Wolfgang Vacation Cabin boasts magnificent outdoor spaces, starting with the spacious deck off of the great room. From the deck, enjoy views of the Tahoe Donner Ski Hill and the surrounding pines. The wrap-around deck of this cabin rental in North Lake Tahoe includes a covered area on the side with a BBQ grill, perfect for enjoying an outdoor meal as a family.

The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Wolfgang Vacation Cabin comfortably accommodates up to six guests. The bedrooms and bathrooms are located together down a hallway off of the great room. The primary bedroom is located at the end of the hall and is outfitted with soft carpet and a spacious king bed. A full ensuite bathroom is located in the primary bedroom, but the real gem is the private deck access. Step outside onto your private deck to enjoy a morning cup of coffee overlooking the spacious yard dotted with pine trees – what a peaceful way to start the day! It’s easy to keep the kids close in this family-friendly home, with a guest room featuring a twin bunk bed and a daybed with a trundle directly across the hall. The third bedroom offers a queen bed, with the shared bathroom directly across the hall.

LOCATION and AMENITIES

Please note: each eligible property is issued 6 guest cards to access the recreation amenities available in Tahoe Donner Association.  Guests that fail to leave all 6 guest cards in the home after checkout will be subject to a $100 fine per missing card. Children under the age of 3 are free.  
Guest access fees apply per person per day and vary by activity.

From the Wolfgang Vacation Cabin, Alder Creek Café, Equestrian Center, and Tahoe Donner Cross Country Skiing are all within convenient walking distance. Enjoy this home’s convenient location, with Tahoe Donner Ski Resort just a 3-minute drive away, the club house just a 5-minute drive, and Northstar and Squaw Valley within 20 minutes.

Tahoe Donner Ski Resort is only 3 minutes away, the clubhouse is about 5 minutes away, Northstar and Squaw Valley are within a 20-minute drive, and there is plenty of hiking, biking, and walking nearby.

Our Wolfgang Vacation Cabin is a great property for both summer and winter vacations. The Tahoe Donner Association gives you access to the clubhouse, which has two swimming pools (a heated lap pool open year-round and a large pool open in summer only), three hot tubs, two saunas, and a cardio and weight room. There is also a golf course and tennis courts just a few minutes’ drive from the house, as well as a private association beach on the east end of Donner Lake. Tahoe Donner has a ski resort as well that's available for your enjoyment, especially great if you have children. You won't even need to leave the area because of all the great activities offered including 2 restaurants, hiking and biking trails just as you walk out your front door, enjoy our private vacation home as much as we do.

Summer activities include: golf, horseback riding, hiking and mountain bike tours, bocce ball, and archery.

Winter activities include: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, and sledding.

Important Notice About Tahoe Donner Amenities:

Tahoe Donner Association has announced new access blackouts and limitations for Short-Term Tenant Access Cards. During these blackout periods, short-term rental guests (including those staying with Tahoe Signature Properties) will not have access to Tahoe Donner amenities.
Our properties are registered as Short-Term Rental Tenant members, which are subject to these blackout restrictions.

- Parking Spots: 3; During snowfall, street parking is not allowed due to snow removal. All vehicles must be parked off the street promptly so plows can operate.
- Town of Truckee: RCN-508-16
- Due to family allergies, Wolfgang Vacation Cabin is not pet-friendly.
- Outdoor furniture and grills may not be available November–May.
- In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are required. If your car is not equipped with either, please be sure to have chains.
- We kindly ask all guests to respect quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM, as required by Town of Truckee regulations.
- Full Terms and Conditions are supplied upon booking and completion of signatures on the Booking Confirmation.
- Rental Agreement contract is required for booking to be confirmed and must be signed within 24 hours of creating the reservation.
*Agreement must be signed by occupants aged 25 or older.
