MAIN FLOOR

As you enter the home, you will be greeted by a warm and inviting hallway that leads to the bright, spacious main living areas as well as the two main floor bedrooms and shared half bathroom. The open-plan main living areas boast high ceilings and enormous curved windows that let in plenty of light, allowing guests to enjoy the views from every part of the main floor.

The bright kitchen offers deep counters and modern appliances for easy meal prep and overlooks the living room and dining room so everyone can spend time together no matter where they are. In the adjoining dining area, there is a large farmhouse table with a unique antler chandelier, perfect for sit-down dinners. 

The comfortable living room is furnished with a large, curved sectional that offers plenty of seating for everyone making this room ideal for family movie nights. With a large natural rock fireplace, this living room is a cozy space to spend evenings together!

There are two patios on the main floor of this home, where guests can relax and enjoy the peaceful outdoors. On the patio off the dining area, guests can find a BBQ and seating, ideal for grilling in warm weather! The patio off the living room offers guests access to outdoor seating areas and a large hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day on the slopes, on the green or exploring! 

The main floor has two well-appointed bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and the other with stepped double and twin bunk beds and a small seating area. With high-end linens and plenty of storage space, these rooms ensure a great night’s sleep during your stay!

UPPER FLOOR

The lodge's second level houses the beautiful and spacious primary bedroom, furnished with a comfortable king-sized bed, and offers a private patio and large spa ensuite. With soft linens, high ceilings, a deep soaker tub, and a separate walk-in shower, this suite is a retreat from the rest of the home and provides the perfect place to unwind after a long day exploring Tahoe Donner!
With a neatly designed den and office area upstairs, this home provides guests with a quiet space to send emails or catch up on work quickly, so you can join the family on your favorite Tahoe activities!

LOCATION and AMENITIES

Conveniently located in the beautiful Northwoods neighborhood, when you stay at Sun Valley Lodge you have easy access to the Tahoe Donner Ski Resort, beautiful hiking and biking trails in the area and the Tahoe Donner Association (TDA) clubhouse where you will find two swimming pools, three hot tubs, two saunas, a fitness center, a golf course and tennis courts! The TDA also provides access to a private beach on the east end of Donner Lake, offering a secluded and serene location for relaxation and enjoyment! Plus, Northstar Village and Resort, downtown Truckee, Lake Tahoe, the Squaw Valley area and more are all easily accessible from this property! Whether you’re visiting in the summer or winter, Tahoe Donner has activities and recreation for a perfect family vacation! 

Important Notice About Tahoe Donner Amenities:

Tahoe Donner Association has announced new access blackouts and limitations for Short-Term Tenant Access Cards. During these blackout periods, short-term rental guests (including those staying with Tahoe Signature Properties) will not have access to Tahoe Donner amenities.
Our properties are registered as Short-Term Rental Tenant members, which are subject to these blackout restrictions.

Refunds cannot be provided for cancellations related to these blackout dates.

There is a per-person, per-day fee to access the club amenities, and rates are subject to change. Please refer to the TDA website for details: https://www.tahoedonner.com/amenities/

Each eligible property is issued six guest cards to access the recreation amenities available through the Tahoe Donner Association. Guests who fail to leave all six guest cards in the home will be subject to a $100 fine per missing card. Children 3 and under are free.

Please note that blackout schedules are set solely by the Tahoe Donner Association and may change at their discretion.

- Maximum Occupancy: 8
- Parking Spots: 3; During snowfall, street parking is not allowed due to snow removal. All vehicles must be parked off the street promptly so plows can operate.
- Town of Truckee:  016798
- Maximum 2 pets allowed and $100/pet fee must be paid before check-in.
- Outdoor furniture and grills may not be available November–May.
- In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are required. If your car is not equipped with either, please be sure to have chains.
- We kindly ask all guests to respect quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM, as required by Town of Truckee regulations.
- Full Terms and Conditions are supplied upon booking and completion of signatures on the Booking Confirmation.
- Rental Agreement contract is required for booking to be confirmed and must be signed within 24 hours of creating the reservation.
- Exterior security cameras are installed on the property.
*Agreement must be signed by occupants aged 25 or older.
