MAIN FLOOR

As you step onto the main floor, you will be greeted by a large, bright, open-plan living area that includes a spacious living room, kitchen, and dining room. The living room boasts soaring cathedral ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a large, curved sectional. The beautiful stove and large flatscreen make it easy for the whole family to relax and curl up on winter nights by the fire—perfect for movie nights or family game nights. Spending time together has never been easier—or more enjoyable. The front patio, right off the living room and dining area, is perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks while enjoying the neighborhood views.

The kitchen is a large, classic lodge-style space with high-end stainless steel appliances. With lots of space to work and bar seating for a quick coffee, breakfast, or keeping the cook company, this fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make quick snacks or larger sit-down family meals. The six-person dining table in the dining area allows everyone to eat, play cards or board games together, and enjoy meals as a group.

Two guest bedrooms on the main floor behind the kitchen area feature queen beds and chic mountain- and nature-themed decor. These cozy spaces are perfect for restful nights and cheerful mornings with windows that overlook the property and neighborhood. The large, shared four-piece bathroom completes this level.

LOWER LEVEL

Moving to the lower floor, you will find a cozy den with a stove and a plush sectional where you can cuddle up and watch movies on the flat-screen TV. A guest bedroom with two twin bunk beds in beautiful log frames is perfect for kids, who will love making this space their own.

The lower patio can be accessed from the main floor via the stairs or from the den on the lower floor. The huge, spacious patio has a covered hot tub, allowing you to use it in the winter and watch the snow fall. In the summer, you can relax in the outdoor seating and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and fresh mountain air.

UPPER LOFT

The upper loft provides an office area on the landing—perfect for getting some work done—and it’s on this level that guests will find the primary suite. This gorgeous, bright space with wood-paneled, vaulted ceilings offers beautiful views of the backyard, a king bed with cozy linens, an enormous walk-in closet, and a five-piece ensuite with a double vanity, water closet, and tub-shower combo. Access to the upper patio and stairs to the other patios complete this stunning property.

LOCATION and AMENITIES

At Pinecone Lodge, guests can easily access the Tahoe Donner Ski Resort, Tahoe Donner Golf Course and have access to the Tahoe Donner Association’s clubhouse, which features two swimming pools, three hot tubs, two saunas, tennis courts, a cardio room, and a weight room. There are nearby hiking and biking trails and guests also get access to the private beach at the east end of Donner Lake! Both Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe are nearby, where you can go swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, biking, and more! Truckee is also known for its charming historic downtown area that features several boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Important Notice About Tahoe Donner Amenities:

Tahoe Donner Association has announced new access blackouts and limitations for Short-Term Tenant Access Cards. During these blackout periods, short-term rental guests (including those staying with Tahoe Signature Properties) will not have access to Tahoe Donner amenities.
Our properties are registered as Short-Term Rental Tenant members, which are subject to these blackout restrictions.

Each eligible property is issued six guest cards to access the recreation amenities available through the Tahoe Donner Association. Guests who fail to leave all six guest cards in the home will be subject to a $100 fine per missing card. Children 3 and under are free.

Please note that blackout schedules are set solely by the Tahoe Donner Association and may change at their discretion.

- Parking Spots: 4; During snowfall, street parking is not allowed due to snow removal. All vehicles must be parked off the street promptly so plows can operate.
- Town of Truckee:  031498
- Due to family allergies, Pinecone Lodge is not pet-friendly.
- Outdoor furniture and grills may not be available November–May.
- In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are required. If your car is not equipped with either, please be sure to have chains.
- We kindly ask all guests to respect quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM, as required by Town of Truckee regulations.
- Full Terms and Conditions are supplied upon booking and completion of signatures on the Booking Confirmation.
- Rental Agreement contract is required for booking to be confirmed and must be signed within 24 hours of creating the reservation.
- There is a Ring door camera to the right of the front door, and a second Ring camera on the back deck overlooking the back patio.
*Agreement must be signed by occupants aged 25 or older.
