MAIN FLOOR

As you enter the home, you’ll be greeted by a dramatic open-concept great room filled with natural light. The vaulted wood-beam ceilings and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping mountain and forest views, while the stone fireplace provides a cozy centerpiece for relaxing evenings. Plush leather sofas invite you to sink in with a good book, sip hot cocoa by the fire, or gather for movie night after a day on the slopes.

The chef’s kitchen is designed for both function and style, featuring granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a spacious kitchen island with bar seating. From morning pancakes to après-ski dinners, it’s fully stocked with everything you need to prepare and serve home-cooked meals!

Just off the kitchen, the dining area comfortably seats eight around a beautiful wooden table, making it the perfect setting for lively family meals or game nights.

Step through the sliding glass doors and you’ll find a large wraparound deck with a dining table, BBQ grill, and lounge seating. This outdoor space is perfect for enjoying morning coffee as the sun rises over the pines or relaxing with a glass of wine under a blanket of stars.

Also on the main floor is the primary suite, a serene retreat featuring a plush king bed, luxurious linens, a cozy gas fireplace, and private deck access. The spa-inspired ensuite bathroom includes a deep soaking tub, a walk-in glass shower, and dual sinks so you can unwind in style.

LOWER FLOOR

Downstairs, the lodge offers a spacious and inviting family room perfect for relaxation and entertainment. Challenge your friends to a round of pool on the billiards table, catch a movie on the smart TV, or simply cozy up in the comfortable sitting area. With direct access to the backyard and patio, this level is ideal for guests who love easy indoor-outdoor living.

Three additional bedrooms are located on this level, each thoughtfully decorated with warm wood accents and mountain-inspired décor.

The second primary suite features a king bed, a gas fireplace, and a private ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and a walk-in shower. The queen guest bedroom offers cozy bedding and plenty of natural light, while the fourth bedroom includes a twin-over-full bed, perfect for kids or teens! A third full bathroom is conveniently located nearby, ensuring every guest enjoys comfort and privacy.

OUTDOOR SPACES

The outdoor spaces at Moonridge Lodge are designed for year-round enjoyment. The flagstone patio features a stunning built-in fire pit surrounded by bright red Adirondack chairs, creating the ultimate spot for roasting marshmallows, telling stories, or simply soaking in the mountain air.

Two expansive decks overlook Tahoe Donner’s scenic ridges, offering both sun and shade throughout the day. Whether you’re grilling dinner, dining alfresco, or just relaxing with friends, these outdoor areas make it easy to savor the Tahoe lifestyle.

LOCATION AND AMENITIES

Guests at Moonridge Lodge can easily access the Tahoe Donner Ski Resort and Tahoe Donner Golf Course and enjoy the Tahoe Donner Association’s clubhouse, which features two swimming pools, three hot tubs, two saunas, tennis courts, a cardio room, and a weight room! There are nearby hiking and biking trails and guests also get access to the private beach at the east end of Donner Lake! Both Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe are nearby, where you can enjoy swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, biking, and more! Truckee is also known for its charming historic downtown area that features several boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Whether you’re looking for a place to relax and unwind or a base for adventure, this property is the perfect home away from home during your stay at Moonridge Lodge!

Important Notice About Tahoe Donner Amenities:

Tahoe Donner Association has announced new access blackouts and limitations for Short-Term Tenant Access Cards. During these blackout periods, short-term rental guests (including those staying with Tahoe Signature Properties) will not have access to Tahoe Donner amenities.
Our properties are registered as Short-Term Rental Tenant members, which are subject to these blackout restrictions.

Refunds cannot be provided for cancellations related to these blackout dates.

There is a per-person, per-day fee to access the club amenities, and rates are subject to change. Please refer to the TDA website for details: https://www.tahoedonner.com/amenities/

Each eligible property is issued six guest cards to access the recreation amenities available through the Tahoe Donner Association. Guests who fail to leave all six guest cards in the home will be subject to a $100 fine per missing card. Children 3 and under are free.

Please note that blackout schedules are set solely by the Tahoe Donner Association and may change at their discretion.

- Parking Spots: 3; During snowfall, street parking is not allowed due to snow removal. All vehicles must be parked off the street promptly so plows can operate.
- Due to family allergies, Moonridge Lodge is not pet-friendly.
- Outdoor furniture and grills may not be available November–May.
- In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are required. If your car is not equipped with either, please be sure to have chains.
- We kindly ask all guests to respect quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM, as required by Town of Truckee regulations.
- Full Terms and Conditions are supplied upon booking and completion of signatures on the Booking Confirmation.
- Rental Agreement contract is required for booking to be confirmed and must be signed within 24 hours of creating the reservation.
- Front door Ring doorbell and backyard camera.
*Agreement must be signed by occupants aged 25 or older.
