INSIDE THE HOUSE
The wood exterior, sloped chalet style roof, wrap around deck, and surrounding pine trees make the Wolfgang Vacation Cabin the picture-perfect getaway. Hang your winter gear on the hooks as you enter and then step into the grand main living area. The great room is a blend of rustic and modern, with tall cathedral ceilings that elevate the space and give the feel of a mountain lodge. Warm up by the stone fireplace on chilly winter evenings or relax on the leather sofa or easy chairs. A flat screen Smart TV is situated in the living room for your evening entertainment. Two story windows allow light to flood into this space. The full adjacent kitchen features stainless steel appliances and all that you need to prepare meals to be enjoyed at the full dining table, seating six. The Wolfgang Vacation Cabin boasts magnificent outdoor spaces, starting with the spacious deck off of the great room. From the deck, enjoy views of Tahoe Donner Ski Hill and the surrounding pines. The wrap-around deck of this cabin rental in North Lake Tahoe includes a covered area on the side with a BBQ grill, perfect for enjoying an outdoor meal as a family.

The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Wolfgang Vacation Cabin comfortably accommodates up to six guests. The bedrooms and bathrooms are located together down a hallway off of the great room. The master can be found at the end of the hall, outfitted with soft carpet and a spacious king bed. A full en suite bathroom is located in the master, but the real gem here is the private deck access provided. Step outside on your own private deck to enjoy a morning cup of coffee overlooking the spacious yard dotted with pine trees – what a peaceful way to begin the day! It’s easy to keep the kids close at hand in this family-friendly home, with a guest room featuring a twin bunk bed and a day bed with a trundle right across the hall. The third bedroom offers a queen bed, with the shared bath right across the hall.

LOCATION/AMENITIES
From the Wolfgang Vacation Cabin, Alder Creek Café, Equestrian Center, and Tahoe Donner Cross Country Skiing are all within convenient walking distance. Enjoy this home’s convenient location, with Tahoe Donner Ski Resort just a 3-minute drive away, the club house just a 5-minute drive, and Northstar and Squaw Valley within 20 minutes.

Our Wolfgang Vacation Cabin is a great property to spend your summer as well as your winter vacations, Tahoe Donner Association gives you access to the clubhouse that has 2 swimming pools (a heated lap pool open year round and a big pool open in summer only), 3 hot tubs, 2 saunas, a cardio and a weight room. There is also a golf course and tennis courts only a few minutes drive from the house as well as a private association beach on the east end of Donner Lake. Tahoe Donner has a ski resort as well that's available for your enjoyment, especially great if you have children. You won't even need to leave the area because of all the great activities offered including 2 restaurants, hiking and biking trails just as you walk out your front door, enjoy our private vacation home as much as we do.

Summer Activities Include: Golf, Horseback Riding, Hike and Mountain Bike Tours, Bocce Ball and Archery.

Winter Activities are: Downhill Skiing, Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing, Tubing and sledding.Tahoe Donner. Guest cards only allow for up to 4 guests per card.   Guest access fees apply per person per day and vary from activity to activity. Children 6 and under are free.

We recommend a 4WD or AWD when traveling to Tahoe in the winter, chains are a requirement. Please note, this property has a steep driveway so a 4WD or a AWD is a must!

Clean, well-maintained, and relaxing!

My family stayed at the Wolfgang Vacation Cabin in July 2016 and had a wonderful time. When we arrived, the house was clean, and everything was in place. There were plenty of towels and blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with cups, plates, silverware, and other utensils. We had a couple of questions regarding the house, and Dana answered them right away. All in all, it was a great experience!

A very lovely cabin!

We stayed a weekend at the Wolfgang cabin for a weekend and had a lovely time. The cabin was very clean, the amenities modern and complete. The living room is a wonderful open space with a fireplace and a lovely leather couch. We usually rent just by ourselves my husband and I, but it is clear that the cabin could easily and comfortably accommodate two couples with children for instance. The surroundings were quiet and serene. The cabin is located close by to the Tahoe Donner Ski resort, which is very convenient. Central Truckee is a few miles away so getting food and supplies is easy. Overall, we enjoyed very much our stay at the Wolfgang cabin and hope to be back before the ski season ends.

This is a great cabin for family get away!! It\'s both children and pet friendly. Dana has a beautiful and well-equipped kitchen. We were able to cook an amazing Thanksgiving feast during our stay. Dana also provides supply for the fireplace. The HOA facilities is good. Dana is super responsive, helpful and generous. Dana, Thank you so much for being a wonderful host. We had unforgettable time at the cabin!! We will be back!

Great house!

Great experience, clean, comfortable and easy in all respects. The one issue we had was that the kitchen knives were dull and a bit frustrating since we cooked at home. So, the chefs out there may want to bring their own knives. A relatively minor issue given what was overall a positive experience.

The Wolfgang vacation cabin was exactly as described. Very quiet, comfortable, & convenient location. Tahoe Donner is great for XC skiing and winter activities. Driveway is a little narrow, especially w/ snowpack, but manageable. Limited firewood, but good heating system in house. Plenty of room & dog friendly!

Wonderful Month-long Escape to Wolfgang Cabin

Our family of four stayed at the Wolfgang Vacation Cabin for a full month where we greatly enjoyed beautiful views from the deck, easy access to the amazing trails at the Tahoe Donner Adventure Center, and the well-furnished home. The cabin is cozy and woodsy with a lovely rock fireplace. The kitchen included all the tools I needed for meal prep and baking. This is the third rental we\'ve stayed at through Tahoe Signature Properties, and like all the others, it came with lots of fluffy towels, soft bedding, and plenty of necessary supplies. Very happy!
