Located in a safe, family-oriented neighborhood near Donner Lake, this second-floor, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is the epitome of a charmingly kitschy Californian mountain retreat. With knotted wood throughout, nature-themed decor, and comfortable, plush furniture, this rental property is perfect for a family getaway.

INSIDE THE HOME
In the living room, guests will find a cozy space furnished with plush seating and a flatscreen smart TV over a large gas fireplace. It’s the perfect room to curl up with the family around the fire, stream your favorite series, play a game or enjoy a nightcap and watch the snow fall. On the small private deck, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or an evening drink in the warmer months. The small, four-person dining table adjacent to the kitchen is ideal for sit-down dinners, and the full kitchen offers ample space to whip up favorite meals or a morning cup of coffee. Plus, the bar seating is perfect for a casual breakfast, a cup of coffee, or a place to perch with a glass of wine while keeping the chef company!
Just off the living room, guests will find the cozy primary suite furnished with rustic log furniture and offers a comfortable queen-sized bed, a small TV, and a unique ensuite with double sinks and a separate shower room. At the other end of the home, guests have access to the shared four-piece bathroom, secondary queen bedroom and third bedroom which has fun, log bunk beds that kids will love! This space also provides a small desk and has lots of fun games—perfect for entertaining kids off screens!
LOCATION and AMENITIES
Centrally located in Truckee, our Truckee Cinnabar Vacation Retreat is easy to access from both Highways 80 and 89, making it a perfect location to explore everything Truckee has to offer including Donner Lake, Lake Tahoe, Squaw Valley, and Downtown Truckee. This newer family development provides visitors with access to the recreation center, which includes a full-size pool, hot tub, gym, bocce court, volleyball court, and horseshoe pits—all within walking distance! Plus, this neighborhood is an easy walk away from the grocery store where you will also find several nearby restaurants and a coffee shop.

- Maximum Occupancy: 6
- Parking Spots: 2; During snowfall, street parking is not allowed due to snow removal. All vehicles must be parked off the street promptly so plows can operate.
- Town of Truckee: 006124
- Due to family allergies, Truckee Cinnabar Vacation Retreat is not pet-friendly.
- Outdoor furniture and grills may not be available November-May.
- In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are required. If your car is not equipped with both, please be sure to have chains, this home has a steep driveway.
- We kindly ask all guests to respect quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM, as required by Town of Truckee regulations.
- Full Terms and Conditions are supplied upon booking and completion of signatures on the Booking Confirmation.
- Rental Agreement contract is required for booking to be confirmed and must be signed within 24 hours of creating the reservation.
*Agreement must be signed by occupants aged 25 or older.
