north lake tahoe activities

Easter in North Lake Tahoe in April is a special time of year, when the winter doldrums have all shaken off, and springtime is truly beginning. It’s a refreshing time of renewal, all spring flowers and April showers, and there’s no better way to spend it than by renting a comfortable vacation home for the weekend right in scenic Lake Tahoe.

Spring into Fun With These North Lake Tahoe Activities

You’ll be able to start this “hoppy” holiday with a big breakfast whipped up in our rentals’ updated kitchens, enough to supercharge your whole group for a long day of fun! The Easter Egg Hunt has never been so challenging; not only will the kids love to explore every nook and cranny of the rental to find them, the surrounding woods and lakeshore will have lots of neat hiding places. (Note: this is also a great way to work off the sugar rush of those chocolate bunnies in their Easter baskets!)

No holiday at Lake Tahoe is complete without, well, visiting the lake! There is a plethora of fun water North Lake Tahoe activities for anyone in the family to enjoy and plenty of places to rent equipment in case you forgot your gear at home. Take a boat out a way into the water and spend quality time with the family as you go fishing, trying to nab some big ones to dig into later.

You can also take a guided tour all around the lake, finding some hidden treasures and critters all around you may not have found otherwise! There are also mountain biking tours to go on, for the more adventurous folks in your group. No better way to experience the area than at a speedy clip, with the wind in your face, right?

Finally, head on back to your cozy vacation home for some grub, like hamburgers and hot dogs grilled up right in your backyard. Food just seems to taste better when it’s enjoyed outside, shared in the company of the people you love. Kick back in an Adirondack chair, stargaze, and swap stories all night, until you sleepily fall into plush beds for a wonderful night’s rest.

Well, there you have it – the schedule for your next beautiful Easter holiday and head on over to North Lake Tahoe in April, ready to enjoy as written, but easily tweaked as you get into the swing of things at the lake.
