Booking Process

  • CANCELATION POLICY

    Should Tenant cancel the reservation after Agent confirms this Rental Agreement, and before 30 days of arrival date, Tenant will receive a refund of the full contractual amount. Should Tenant cancel the reservation after Agent confirms this Rental Agreement, within 30 days before arrival date, Agent will attempt to rebook the Unit at the same rate. If Agent is able to rebook the Unit at the same rate, Tenant will receive a refund of the full contractual amount less 25% reservation fee. If Agent is able to rebook the Unit at a lower rate, Tenant will receive a refund in the amount of the lower rate less 25% reservation fee. If Agent is unable to rebook the Unit, Tenant’s full payment, excluding taxes and cleaning fee, will be not refunded. There shall be no refund or credit provided in the event the Tenant is unable to arrive at the Unit on the arrival date or in the event Tenant departs from the Unit prior to the departure date for the following reasons, including but not limited to: road closure, inclement weather, health problems, fires in the basins which do not require evacuation, or disruption of utility services.

  • TRAVEL INSURANCE

    To protect against cancelations caused by certain unforeseen events, such as illness, death, natural disasters, etc., we recommend that guests purchase trip cancelation and Interruption Protection insurance to assure refund of deposits paid and reimbursement of other vacation payments. Such insurance is available through travel agents, auto clubs such as AAA, or online at http://www.rentalguardian.com/ or http://www.csatravelprotection.com/

  • DAMAGE WAIVER

    Your Damage Waiver is a Trust and Safety Fee that includes up to $5,000  of accidental coverage for property damage and contents damage and up to $100,000  coverage for bodily injury. Complete terms regarding the Trust and Safety coverage can be found at safely.ai/tahoesignatureproperties. The Trust and Safety Fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date. Any deductible or minimum claim amount will be the responsibility of the  Guest and Tahoe Signature Properties will process using the form of payment on file for guests. 

  • CHECK-IN/CHECK -OUT PROCEDURE

    Check-In. Check-in time is after 4 PM on the day Tenant’s scheduled reservation begins. No early check-ins absent prior consent of Agent. Seven days before your arrival an email will be sent to the Tenant with check-in instructions, Tenants will be given their key(s) and gate access card(s) (if needed), as well as any special instructions or updates that may be applicable to the Unit. Check-Out. Check-out time is 10 AM on the day Tenant’s scheduled reservation ends. Any delay in check-out, absent prior consent of Agent shall result in Tenants being charged for another night’s stay.

  • PET POLICY

    While we love our furry friends, please note that not all homes are pet-friendly. Your pet is allowed at our Pet-Friendly homes, here's a link to those: https://tahoesignatureproperties.com/tahoe-truckee-vacation-rentals/pet-friendly-vacation-rentals-lake-tahoe/?min_pets=1 There is a $100 pet fee, charged when booking for a maximum of 2 pets per stay.

  • MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS

    Guest reserving the property must be at least 25 years of age and also staying at the property with their listed guests.

  • WHY BOOK DIRECT WITH US?

    Only by booking with us direct will you take advantage of the best rates guaranteed. Third-party sites like VRBO, Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia will reflect rates higher by 15-20%. Also, we are your hosts, no matter who you book through, so avoid the middle man and book directly with Tahoe Signature Properties.

  • SUPPLIES WE PROVIDE

    All of our homes will have paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish pods, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, and toiletries in the bathrooms. Each bed will be made with fresh linens and towels are provided.

  • WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS

    About 5-6 months out of the year, Tahoe is blanketed in snow, getting around can be challenging, but a good AWD or 4WD car with all season, or better yet winter tires, will be a lifesaver. From the minute to minute changing weather, to black ice, to hills and steep driveways, having an AWD or 4WD vehicle with good tires and always "Driving Slow" will get you and your family safely to your destination.

  • DRESS CODE IN TAHOE-TRUCKEE AREA
