Meet the Owner

Hi! I’m Dana, the proud owner of Tahoe Signature Properties, which I founded in 2012. For over a decade, I’ve lived and worked right here in North Lake Tahoe, and I love sharing my home with the world!

While California is my home now, I was born in Moldova, a small country in Eastern Europe where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Small Business Accounting and Finance. In 2007, I moved to the United States where I worked as a bookkeeper at a local property management firm. Navigating the business of property management came naturally to me, so when I made the move to a luxury vacation rental company, not only was it the perfect fit for my skills, it was the place that I found my spark and where I started dreaming about opening my own vacation rental business. In 2012 I made my  dream a reality and Tahoe Signature Properties was born. With passion, hard work and dedication, it has become a wild success earning the Best of Truckee Award and Business Hall of Fame in 2018, 2019, and 2020! I’m so proud of my team and I look forward to many more years of providing exceptional service and forging incredible relationships with the guests and homeowners of North Lake Tahoe!

And that is really the best part about this business: the incredible people I get to work with from my amazing team of dedicated, professional locals to the passionate homeowners and enthusiastic visitors we serve. The landscape of this industry is ever-changing and it demands creativity, passion, and constant hard work from me as a business owner. My priority is to always  provide the very best tools and services to both owners and guests because for me, your experience is my number one priority.

The landscape of the industry might be ever-changing but the landscape of North Lake Tahoe, California is timeless and unwavering. The natural beauty is as awe-inspiring as it is serene with friendly, laid-back mountain towns ready to welcome you with open arms whether you’re shopping, dining or just exploring. I live here happily with my husband and two daughters, and the four of us love to explore our beautiful home every chance we get! 

When we’re not exploring the beauty of North Lake Tahoe, one of our family’s favorite things to do is to travel! Our second favorite place in the world is Hawaii, and we love to bask in the beauty of the Islands, from the vivid sapphire ocean to the rich and lively rainforests. It allows us time to make memories that we’ll all cherish forever so I understand the importance of choosing the right company who will help you have a stress-free vacation, allowing you to focus on being together! Whether it’s your own backyard or across the globe, the urge to explore the world is an integral part of human nature that I wholeheartedly embrace. That’s why I want nothing more than to share this place with others, by ensuring an incredible travel experience for every guest and providing outstanding service to every one of our homeowners who, like me, love the wild beauty of North Lake Tahoe.
